Dana and Douglas Reiser
Photography is my passion! But I also love cats, hot tea, drawing, reading and taking long walks with my husband. I started taking photographs when I was 7 with a brownie box camera I borrowed from my grandfather. I took photos of everything and everyone. The first time I got instruction on how to take photos was as a girl scout working on a photography badge. I kept working on how to develop and print my own photos in a high school photography class. In college I was called "the picture lady" as I took photographs at many campus and off campus events. My love for photography grew when I moved to India and did field research for a missions organization. I got to travel and take photos of hundreds of different people groups. I came back to the U.S. and worked in graphic design, ceramics, the YMCA, and as a nursing assistant/hospital clerk. I stuck with film photography until 2013 when I got my first digital camera.
Since 2013 I have taken several classes and spent hours practicing photography with my digital camera. I love the immediacy of digital photography but I must admit that sometimes I miss the darkroom.
I come from a big family that always took photos for every occasion big or small. While I love to take photos of newborns and seniors, my first love is family and children photography. I love to see families enjoying each other, playing together, singing together and just having fun! I strive to create images that will bring you right back to that fun, loving memory. If you choose to work with me, we will have a relaxed, fun atmosphere and you will end up with relaxed, loving memories in your photographs. I also love to take photos of grandparents with their grandchildren. My style is more documentary/lifestyle than posed but I will help you get into situations that will make emotionally charged, well designed photographs that you will be pleased to put on your walls.
Please take a look at my portfolio to see if my style is what you are looking for in your photographs. And call or text me if you have any questions!
(701) 426-3906 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org I will be with you from your first inquiry, through all your questions, throughout the photoshoot until you are able to either download your images or order prints directly off the website. I edit each image so I do recommend you ordering your photographs through the website so that the image stays just as you see it online.
Every photographer has their own style and if mine fits with your image of family, newborns, maternity, seniors, children and grandparents, please contact me! I look forward to hearing from you!
